Ashlea R. Brandon
Ashlea Brandon was born in Vicksburg, Mississippi and reared in nearby Port Gibson, Mississippi. She graduated from Vicksburg High School in 2009 and graduated from Tougaloo College in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in English. While at Tougaloo, she was selected to serve as an intern for Arbor Day Foundation, a nonprofit that focuses on developing forestry in rural and impoverished areas. She also was a member of the Bonner Program while in college, striving to build sustainable relationships between local nonprofits and higher institutions.
Ashlea graduated Mississippi College School of Law in 2016 and was admitted into the Mississippi Bar in 2017. During her time in law school, she worked extensively with developing various 501(c)(3) organizations. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Capital Area Bar Association, Mississippi Women Lawyers Association, Magnolia Bar Association, and the National Bar Association.
Ashlea resides in the metro Jackson area. She enjoys reading, writing, traveling, and spending time with family.
