Angela D. Boisseau was born in Metairie, Louisiana. Her family moved to Atlanta, Georgia, and then to Aberdeen, Mississippi, where Angela worked part time in the family owned retail businesses until her graduation from college. She graduated from Aberdeen High School in 1987 and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Paralegal Studies in 1991 from the Mississippi University for Women. She then gained wide and extensive experience as a paralegal, working for law firms in California, Nevada, and Mississippi. Additionally, Angela was a corporate real estate broker and mortgage loan compliance manager for seven years, which entailed developing and implementing practices and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal mortgage lending and real estate laws.

She attended the University of Mississippi School of Law and Memphis Law School, where she earned her Doctorate of Law. During law school, Angela was awarded the CALI Excellence Award for achieving the highest grade in the Elder Law Clinic. Additionally, Angela provided pro bono assistance to the Southaven Municipal Court Judge by researching legal issues and creating form documents for use in municipal courts throughout DeSoto County, Mississippi. She also assisted the Pro Bono Initiative Director at the University of Mississippi School of Law with training methods and prepared instructive materials used to train student attorneys in data and client management software.

Angela is admitted to practice in all Mississippi state courts and the Northern and Southern District Federal Courts in Mississippi. While Angela is well-versed in many areas of the law, her office in Southaven primarily focuses on wills and estates, criminal law, collection matters, and family law. She is also a certified guardian ad litem in the State of Mississippi.

Angela, her husband Gary, and their two dogs reside in Southaven. She enjoys reading, sewing, and working in her garden and flower beds. She is active in her church, serving on the finance committee and in the church’s many volunteer programs that give back to the community.
